It is presented by The New York Film Academy and is produced, directed and hosted by the shows creators The Galinsky Brothers, Executive Producer Terry Schnuck and Co-Produced in LA by Braxton Pope.

"The Galinsky brothers host the show and their antics alone are enough to keep the audience entertained.” Grant Tyler, Off Off Online.com

The show features two sets of theatre - Set One is the MMSlam Championship Set and features 8 pre-booked actors competing in front of a panel of industry judges. Set two is comprised of audience members who sign up at the show to perform in the hopes of winning a spot in next months Championship Set.

Set One
The Manhattan Monologue Slam Championship Set, is hosted by Robert Galinsky & features 8 pre-booked actors performing one three-minute monologue. What's at stake? The tag of "The Manhattan Monologue Slam Champion", prize money, a sit down with any one of that evening’s judges for a career consultation, and the challenge of defending the title & trophy in next month’s show.

Set Two
30 Second Audience Slam is hosted by Phillip Galinsky. It’s an outrageous set of audience/actors who sign up to perform on the night of the show. Each actor's performance doubles as entertainment & as an 'audition' to perform in the championship set in the next show, in addition to winning cash and prizes too.

SIMPLY SHOW UP - SIGN UP - AND PERFORM

The Galinsky brothers host the show and their antics alone are enough to keep the audience entertained. The packed-to-capacity crowd spill over the seats into the aisle and line up along the bar, crowding to get a glimpse, with cheers or jeers at the judges' tallies.

The format they have would make a dandy of a reality-television show. Performers looking for that fabled big break are squaring off against one another in a flurry of three-minute monologues, with industry professionals sitting in as judges.
